Design Engineering at Brasco:
The shelters and other transit related products at Brasco must be prepped for benches, solar and AC compatible options,
glass, acrylic, perf metal walls, scrolling displays LCD's, heating options and more. Those of us in the design engineering area will spend most of the day assembling the shelter model for submission, and detailing all the non-standard or revised structural elements as needed to accept the options the client will require.

The Eclipse style shelter is very popular. As with all Brasco Shelters, your roof style and glazing are optional. Some of the more popular options are: roofing with aluminum or acrylic glazing, an arched roof, and tempered glass walls. Most order the Solar powered electrical system and acessories like pedestal benches, map cases, brochure holders and light boxes to name a few. The shelter options span across all or most models with some models requiring their own version of an accessory because the structure of the shelter can vary and not all accessories can be mounted the same way. Additionally engineering also was responsible for providing designs for structural calculations, the BOM and the customer copy. The customer Copy has the custom and standard instructions, the Packing list and the hardware list.

Below are a couple sample Eclipse designs with non-standard modifications.
The first sample below has a solar powered electrical system, an illuminated double sided display box on one end and we see this client chose a free standing style trash receptacle on the other end.

Eclipse - With Metal Glazing:
Brasco shelters do not have size limitations. The design staff routinely modify them to suit any footprint or client design request.
The version below has aluminum roof glazing and perforated metal walls, with a multi color powder coat painted surface and some anodized accessories and custom graphics. We can also see a lean rail and free standing trash receptacle with a bonnet lid at the end.
Executive Shelter
Here we see the client wanted a cantilevered standing seam hip roof with sheet aluminum glazing, split mullion walls glazed with tempered safety glass with inset sash and internal leaning rail and curveline bench with aluminum bench slats. The finish is dark bronze anodized. Very few shelters ship without customization the shelter below is custom due to the lean rail and glass configuration.
Slimline Shelter - Cantilevered Dome Roof
The dome roof is simple and provides the most ambient light of most shelters.
Here we see the client wanted six inch fascia solar power and standard tempered safety glass glazing and surface mount
sash, and a solar package to power the LED night light. This shelter was made custom due to the split windows, the solar panel and the led lighting.
Slimline Shelters - Flatpan Roof
Here we see this shelter was ordered with a flat pan roof, with clear tempered safety glass walls and a wall mounted bench. The finish is dark bronze anodized.
Shelters - Cantilevered Reverse Gable Roof
Here we see this shelter was ordered with a reverse gable roof gable with a spire type cap, with clear tempered safety glass walls with a wall mounted bench and cedar HDPE bench slats. The finish is dark bronze anodized. This shelter features a decorated reverse gable roof with spires, wall mounted bench and split windows.
Shelters - Glazed Hip Roof
Here we see this shelter was ordered with a reverse gable roof gable with a spire type cap, with clear tempered safety glass walls with a wall mounted bench and cedar HDPE bench slats. The finish is dark bronze anodized. The glazed hip roof offers more ambient lighting and is often sold with acrylic or polycarbonate glazing. Standard clear tempered safety glass walls, a front and center windscreen with a wall mounted bench and cedar HDPE bench slats. The finish is dark bronze anodized.
AXLE:
The Axle is an aluminum canopy-only style shelter that performs as a bus stop shelter, bike parking shelter, or shade shelter. Clients can tailor the Axle to suit any brand by choosing from various roof glazing colors and powder coated finish options.
Cart Corrals
While I show only one there are multiple cart corral designs at Brasco with options for corral style, with or without roof, center dividers, multiple roof options and signage options with single sided, with stainless steel pillar guards and double sided functionality.
Cantilevered Slimline Shelter
This shelter not only was ordered to match the color scheme of it's surroundings but has a healthy overhanging standing seam hip roof and internal bench with backrest.
